In each of the last eleven consecutive negative S&P 500 months, Tiger Rock outperformed the index in ten of eleven, posting positive returns in six of those eleven months.

I launched Tiger Rock Capital Management because I watched too many funds post mediocre returns. My only job is to grow your capital. And I'm invested alongside you, with the majority of my liquid net worth invested in Tiger Rock with you.
I previously served as the number two and first outside hire at Steamboat Capital Partners in New York, an equity long/short hedge fund launched in 2012 by Parsa Kiai. Our goal is to outperform the S&P 500 consistently over a multi-year time horizon. We invest in excellent businesses with strong long-term growth prospects, along with stocks that are temporarily mispriced due to unrelated macro-sentiment, short-term non-fundamental earnings misses, and overblown legal, political or regulatory risk.
Our edge comes from deep fundamental research, disciplined valuation parameters, and a long-time horizon. Our biggest influences are Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, and Stanley Druckenmiller. If you are an Accredited Investor, this is an opportunity for direct access to a hedge fund manager with an active investment strategy.
While owning index funds can generate decent long-term returns, it also means potentially investing at all-time highs and concentrating entirely in the U.S. stock market. Tiger Rock's goal isn't to match the market, it's to outperform it and de-correlate from it. Here's how that plays out in practice:

Risk Disclosure: Investing in securities involves risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Investors should carefully consider investment objectives, risks, and fees before investing.
Benchmark Disclosure: Tiger Rock has selected the S&P 500 Index as a benchmark for comparison purposes because it is a widely recognized, unmanaged index of large-capitalization U.S. equities and a common reference point for U.S. equity performance. The S&P 500 is broadly diversified across approximately 500 companies, while Tiger Rock typically holds a more concentrated portfolio. The S&P 500 is not actively managed and does not reflect the deduction of advisory fees, performance fees, transaction costs, or other expenses.
